Offline programming
CAD-supported offline programming is one of our core competencies.
It involves creating the control software on a computer that is independent of the actual equipment and subsequently uploading it to the controller of the real industrial robot for execution. For this purpose, the robot system is represented by a graphic 3D model in a simulator. The simulation considers robot movements, reachability analysis, collision and near miss detection and cycle time reports. We operate the simulations with the manufacturers' original software. This guarantees a smooth transfer into the running system.
The advantages are obvious: Offline programming does not tie up production system capacity. This considerably shortens the time needed to introduce new programs and minimizes downtimes in production.
